Menteng Office

In the heart of Menteng, Jakarta, INSADA has transformed a 560-square-meter residence into a Javanese inspired contemporary home office that gracefully bridges cultural heritage and modern productivity. Centered around existing Javanese architectural elements and anchored by an intricately carved gebyok entrance, coffered ceilings, and framed batik textiles, the spatial flow transitions seamlessly from a warm, gallery-like foyer into flexible meeting rooms, open workspaces, and an expansive dining hall designed for corporate hospitality. Balancing residential warmth with high-performance utility, the design elevated the owner’s passion for culinary arts with a state of the art commercial-grade kitchen, pairing sleek stainless steel surfaces with warm timber cabinetry to complete a sophisticated, culturally conscious workspace.

Ornately carved Javanese wooden door frame leading into a warm entryway with polished wood floors, potted snake plants, an antique ceramic stool, and a framed painting.
Modern meeting room with a long wood conference table, black ergonomic office chairs, coffered ceilings, modern linear pendant lights, and pointed arch wooden framed windows and doors
